Driving through Flagstaff in April is too unpredictable. At 7000 ft. a snowstorm is quite possible. I would only go the Vegas route.

K I will talk with the CDN West Convoy to see if we want to change route and wewould go back that way if weather permits.

Were leaving Tuesday morning the 12th. So we would have to make it to Salt lake city by Wednesday night and then hook up with your convoy. How many hours S Lake to Phoenix.

Sweet! The SLC-PHX is about 11-12 hours. I think we'd want to try to leave around 3:00 - 4:00 AM so we can get there and check in and still have time to get totally hammered - I mean settled in - Thursday night

What time do you expect to be in Vegas.

We would like to be checked in by 3 or so Thursday.

Well I have to leave about an hour earlier then oyou guys. Since I've got about an hour to slc. SO I'm up for the 4am leaving time. And I think we should meet at a Chevy dealership just off of i15. I'm cool with the Vegas route. Is everyone checked into the host hotel?

Vegas Is about 7 hours from salt lake depending on how fast people drive. I say we stop in Vegas and all get some pictures. ANd go on the rides at the stratusphere

Anybody thought about a staging area for all the convoys to meet up before departing Vegas for Phoenix. Can I suggest Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It's 10 minutes or so north of the Strip adjacent to I-15 at Speedway Blvd. Lot's of parking space to stage and services. I am thinking there will be the:

California Convoy
Vegas Convoy
Utah Convoy
CDN West Convoy

I haven't booked a hotel yet, but I have family there, so I may stay with them...

Its going to be over 200 bucks just for gas. Thats going 2 hurt. ha ha. I'm going to leave Saturday night after the fest and make it to Vegas to stay in a much cheaper hotel. and be half way home.
