Hey Jason I have been thinking about getting the TSP 199-PKG5 set for my 2010 LS3 Camaro SS, what types of numbers should I be expecting? It already put down 401/393 to the wheels with a mild tune, PS LT's 1 3/4, Airaid CAI, and a 3 in MBRP O/R exhaust!! Yep I took off the cats!! Danny at Lethal will be doing the work for me next month! Thannks

It really depends on the cam selected & what all goes around it. Typically guys make 475-500rwhp depending on all the little stuff that goes into the combo. My car made right near 500rwhp with the 231/236 camshaft, and we are currently finishing up a camshaft that makes a few more rwhp than the 231/236.

The PRC aftermarket casting heads made a lot of progress in the last couple weeks. The first couple ports are completed & digitized. We are working to get castings ready for test heads this month!

I plan on running a set of the PRC LS7 heads on a LS3/L99 next week!!

TEA offers a CNC Port job for the L92 castings that flow

Flow Data

Intake Exhaust
0.1 67 53
0.2 150 118
0.3 226 173
0.4 287 219
0.5 332 247
0.55 347 255
0.6 353 264
0.7 368 266
Flowed on 4.030" bore @28"

I know TEA stuff always makes really good power. If I decide to stick with stock castings for my blower setup I'll get him to rework my heads. If I go aftermarket heads I'll be looking at these PRC Castings or the Mast Motorsports ones

Even if you do go to a aftermarket TFS head, TEA will be able to make those heads even better so dont count TEA out just because you go to a aftermarket casting.

What is the word on these heads. It is almost Feb and and the heads should have been availible by now...right we all knew better. Seriously though is there any new news? I have been away for a while and havent heard anything.

Man, I get all excited every time this thread gets revived. I don't know why, I have boatloads to spend on suspension, brakes, and bullet proofing the drivetrain before I start worrying about heads. Who am I kidding. I'm probably going to do the fun stuff and replace parts as I slowly start shredding apart the stock drivetrain.

We are installing the PRC LS7 heads that are setup to fit LS3/L99 engines early next week hopefully! The PRC LS3 heads are a few weeks out though. Making changes to the tooling currently before we build additional sets.

A TFS rep told me they are still undergoing durability and power testing on their heads. If everything goes right they'll be available in March sometime.

What are the advantages to running the LS7 style head over an L92/LS3 head? Will they require a different intake and/or header?

they flow a lot more and they have an 11* valve angle, which means you can run a much bigger cam, before running into PTV clearance issues.

If these do come out, there is no doubt in my mind the fastest N/A stock bottom end 2010 camaro will have these heads on them.

Is there any update on the PRC LS3/LS7 heads Jason? One of these sets is what I'm looking at buying from you.

On LS1tech they said they netted 42 hp by switching to their new heads and an FAST LSXR intake manifold.
