that interior looks like the interior in Christine after it catches fire and goes on a killing rampage....that SRT is a numbered 2008 models too...how many want to bet the dash number reads 666? ya know, i remember hearing that the 666th challenger to roll off the line was black too....

I liked hemi orange when it first came out ,but it seemed like for awhile that was the only color the challenger came in. They over produced. So I believe it's good that they are using in this one.

Countless reviews and data compiled over the past few years show that the Camaro SS is faster than the challenger R/T. Quite a bit faster in LS3 form. It is also faster than the SRT-8.

Mustang has currently bested the camaro by .2 tenths in stock form. Much larger gap than that from SS to R/T. Around a half second. Power to weight shows this to be the blatantly obvious outcome as well.

NHRA Stocker came last year and that dood can drive. His wife did excellent for her first time down the strip as well. I think he'll testify to the fact that we're a good bunch of folks and just enjoy hot rods, so you guys are welcome.

Haha. Well maybe it's just my area but at the car shows the Challengers are the ones that get all the attention. Been like that since day one even though Camaros show up in force.

Hey he got to the top 4 I think. Pretty good out of 400 Camaros LOL. That gal in the 68' that beat him could drive that thing. Both of their cars ran 11s. She beat him by a 10th or two. Then of course one of the $100K shop cars beat her.

I simply don't understand the hating on the CHallenger. So yeah, our SS's are a little faster....and the Mustang GT is a little faster than our SS's. It all comes back around fellas.

Lets all enjoy our cars....I own a SS, but I love the Challenger as well, and may well own one soon.

Hehe, none of them are faster than my Challenger. One of the reasons I built mine up. I don't have to worry about anything that pulls up next to me.



The Challenger is 100% muscle car.

The Camaro and the Mustang are more sports cars these days.

It's all in what you really want.

I believe most here are talking stock vs. stock, where the R/T is really not that competitive; of course all bets are off when you pour $10K+ into either vehicle.

it really doesn't take 10k to get the challenger "competitive" by many people's standards. install a predator tune ($300), DR's (lets say about $500) and an MBRP cat back ($900) and there are multiple guys running mid-high 12s in an auto R/T. same can be said for that amount of mods into an SS would fair slightly better.

aside from that, there was a guy there in a stock 6-speed R/T beating at least stock SS's at Camarofest, as Speedy already mentioned, and seems to be ignored.

remember, i'm saying by laws of physics, the SS is STILL faster than an R/T. we dont need to start this thread over again
