Among other reasons I'm sure. But I wouldn't mind seeing one of the PPVs do that little trick too.

On that new car will all the camo, did anyone notice the trunk safety release on the outside next to the licenese plate? I thought it was a little funny. (Shunt in the trunk)

And the rear brake caliper seems to be very small compared to what looks like the CTS-V, 6 piston up front. It's also not in one of the more common positions for a rear disc caliper being down past the 3 O'clock setting.

FYI, a lot of work goes into developing a Camo Package for cars still not shown to the public.

I remember when I worked on the C6, Dave Hill wanted Camo that made the car look longer in the front and the back to hide the significant reductions in front and rear overhang that the new design had achieved.

And you still have to be able to cool the car so the radiator can't be blocked, just as one example of what has to be considered when you cover a car to keep the public from seeing more than you want them to.

And the checkerboard camo is simply used to hide lines and features so you can't get a true idea of the design details of the car...........................or not.

Of course this might be the way to go in the future.

So this weekend I took the kids to the 24hrs Rolex race at Daytona...

Went by the chevy booth to see whats up.

saw numerous camaro race cars

Vert Camaro

Couple NACAR cars

Trucks, SUV's, Seadans

oh... there was something else....

oh yeah a VOLT!!!!!

And for what it's worth... there was 10 - 15 people crowded around that damn thing all day... I tried 3 different times to get a look and no luck... we walked by the booth maybe 5 or 6 times, every time that Volt was surrounded.
