Now i'll have to figure out if I have to make up a heat sheild for the CAI. Not convinced yet, I'll see later.

Hey RickRay, happy for you for you're tune at Bob's place.

On my calender, 41 days to legally take my baby out of the storage place. Hope the weather will be good... Bye!
heat sheld if you can cold air is a lot bether then hot air , as we can see on the ait (air intake temp sensor)those car remove a lot of timing wen thay start to see it's hot (you got 2 choise tuning or try to let it cold )

Hi Bob. I'll wait until it's installed than figure out making a heat sheild seem the easiest thing to do, I'm lookig at some solutions, I will have a chance to see you before it happens. I don't want to race the car buy I want to keep actual performances at least. Thanks.

in some case you louse power when you instal cai or headers , those parts make a big flow incrace and the maf sensor give the fuel for more air comming inside the engine (like if you run 1500 rpm but your only at 1000) but the probleme is the base data on the ecu is made for a stock amount of air flow so in the reality your car run rich and you louse power ! if you read the instruction when you buy a cai or headers thay saids you need a ecm modif to get the real gain of those parts .... anywhere the customer don't know that and think is a big gain loll but is differente in my eyes .

This is why I'll speak with you when we will have our friday Meets & Greets or other meets. Actually I will be installing Solo Performance Mach X-LLT with J Pipes ( being shipped now), the CAI (G5CR) and the Catch Can that you putted aside for me. (the car will be in storage at least until March 16th, than it depends of the weather and road conditions for the intsallation, maybe you can do them?

By the way Bob, the weather is not so good so i'll wait a few days before picking the Catch Can at your place.

Ça fait drôle d'écrire en anglais lorsque nous sommes 2 francos, mais c'est un site anglo, so let's obey the rules. Salut Bob de Robert.

For the V6, Im trying to get a little more low end power.
I was considering (cuz i havent seen the price yet) to maybe change the gears (after warranty expires).
How much would pieces and install be (about) to change them for 3.73's ?
