As kids, we used to sit on the arm rest in both the front and back seats of my grandmothers Olds Delta 88, no seatbelts or child seats...this was our own little high chair seat....perfect to launch us right through the windshield now that I think about it.

He's an older guy talking about the Camaro is perfect for the "New Generation". What he means by not envying them is that, just because your not young doesn't mean you can't have one too.

Thank you! I was about to post the same thing. As an old f@rt who was already out of high school when the Camaro first came out, I remember the old stove bolt Chevy six. The first V6 Chevy that I can remember was the 2.8 in the old Citation FWD and then the 2.8 in the S-10. Up until then all Chevy sixes were inline. GMC trucks had the first domestic V6's in the late 1950's or early 1960's as best I can remember.

If you've never heard an inline six with glass packs, you should. It sounds SO much better than a V6.
