My First Winter Mods..Elite..ADM..Roto-Fab - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

My first install was a catch can from Elite Engineering. An easy job and a very well made product. Great shipping service from Steve. I used Russell stainless hose and fittings to clean it up a little more.

Then came my ADM race intake with scoop. Another great product, well made and easy to install. A special thanks to Andy @ ADM for fixing me up big time. Used some more Russell fittings and hose for the hose from the valve cover to the intake. Gave the steel tubing on the valve cover a little tweak so the hose cleared everything.

Next came the W/W bottle replacement from Roto-Fab. Again a very well made product....looks factory and not made from thin cheap plastic either. Well done Roto-Fab. Easy install as well. Good time to do it is when your putting in that ADM scoop. I routed my supply hose down the inside of the frame then went under the frame and through the little wedged hole from the ADM scoop. Put some vinyl around it so it wont chafe. The factory line I routed and tied to the lighting wires. This way I didn't have to trim it.

While I waited patiently for the posty to come and drop off my goodies I gave my calipers a color change. I used the VHT high temp caliper paint. Put the decals on, then clear coated. Hopefully it will stand up for a while till I powder coat them. Also started dying my interior stitching.....no pictures yet cause I'm not done.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Weathers mild on the west coast right now. Have not had her out yet, still putting salt on the roads once and a while. Plus some more mods yet to come..headers, exhaust, shifter, wheels. So hopefully around April.

After reading all the talk about installing a catch can or not. My mind was made up after taking of the throttle body and looking for myself. I was surprised to see the film of oil inside the intake. Took a paper towel and wiped in there...wow. If your not into modding the money spent for a catch can is well worth it IMHO.
