It's reeeaaaaallllllllllyyyyyy slow going though. Especially with it being 20 degrees outside!!

I wish I had a garage and the know-how and the skills to unbolt the two front seats. I might would have taken the seats into the living room and done them there.

Looking REALLY good!

2 questions:

1) Where did you get those ones? and what is the exact name of the color on the marker? (don't accidentally want to take a wrong color)

2) Have you compared that color to the ABL? If so, does it match up really well? From the pics it looks like to be very very similar to the color.

Thanks!

I got them at Michael's craft store. I don't see a name of the color, but the selection of the markers is not that wide. I'll look again when I get back home.

I think the pics, my camera, or your monitor might be off. In person it's a little lighter than a forest green, where as the ABL is more of a blueish color. At least to me. (shrugs). If I could figure out how to take an accurate pic of the stitching with the ABL on, I'd do it. But I think, either the flash would distort the ABL or without the flash, you wouldn't be able to see the stitching.

When I went to Michaels, I first had one of the paint pens and one of these marker type pens. I went home and found an old purse with white stitching, tried them both on a few stitches. The other green, I didn't like at all, so I took it back.

On my second trip to Michaels, some of the pens don't have a plastic seal around them. I made a tiny dot/mark on a piece of paper I had to make sure I was getting the color I liked. If you're unsure about a color, I would suggest buying a couple and using them on something old, like a purse, jacket, bbq cover, whatever. Goodwill usually has cheap stuff if you don't have anything you'd want to expirement on.

The markers themselves are cheap. The skinny ones in the pics in my posts are only $2.50, the fat/chisel types and the paint pens were only $3.50. So even if you don't like it and don't want/can't return it, it wasn't a whole lot of money to begin with.

edited: The sixth picture down, showing the back of the steering wheel, is probably the most accurate as far as color matching.

Can anyone give me a 2nd opinion on this color? Just trying to make sure that it is in fact a very similar match to the ABL. I can't differentiate between shades of colors too well so any help is much appreciated =)

Also, I know this isn't a marker... but I'm just trying to find a shade I can print out to a craft supply shop.

i would say thats got too much green in it to match the abl

i was looking around to see what i could find for you ,

and found that the fabric mate "Florescent Sky Blue"
looks very very close to the abl.

Found something very promising!! Just waiting until night to see how it matches the ABL!

Seemed to match perfectly with the ABL-colored LED lights from AAC so I have high hopes right now!
