Thanks for your thoughts on this, J. All good points. I now have 2 sets of wheels for my car. Although, I will sell the stock wheels (which are on the car right now) once I get this all worked out though.

I've thought long and hard about this. I am waiting for Dangeruss to get his 18" wheels to see what they look like on his car before deciding if I want to go with 18s or 20s. I keep going back and forth between those.

My car has considerable torque with more on the way and I find the 22s don't hook well even in street driving (although, I must admit, at times that is rather fun ). If I can't get a reasonable price for the 22s, then I'll just keep them and get a pair of DRs for the occasional track day.

Have any of you dealt with a spouse who thinks that buying another set of wheels is just a bit overdoing things?

For those of you who bought the P13W DRL LED bulbs from AAC Style last year (I know 1 RD JEWL did), they now have a new plasma bulb and will do an "upgrade" exchange for $30 to get the new better bulbs.

Here is the thread.
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122122

Contact Jonathan@AACStyle via pm and he'll fix you up.

Apparently the new plasma bulbs are better because they have a built-in regulator that offsets the pwm (some sort of pulsing signal in the line for the DRLs). So, they are supposed to more reliable than the older bulbs.

I ordered mine today.

Nice! Didn't know they were doing an exchange.

I didn't either until I just happened to run across that thread. That's why I thought I should mention it here.

If I debated car decisions with my spouse I wouldn't be driving a Camaro.

Buy the wheels, debate later.

(helps if you have a separate bank account)

I do have a separate bank account.

All Camaro stuff comes from my account with money I earned.

Yes, the red looks great jr and the rotors.

Weather looks good this week, maybe get mine out too next weekend. Still lots of salt on the roads here, and still wet from the snowmelt. Can't wait

Purty, purty, jr! And so nice to know they actually work!!

Too much salt and meltwater on the roads around here to get Merlin out - I'm hoping that by the end of the week I can drive those flat spots outta his tires :-)
