Getting closer!! Need comments/thoughts

Well, my most wonderful wife has given the go ahead on a new car purchase. My 11 yo BMW is long in the tooth and is, to put it mildly, bleeding us dry.

I'm looking to the board to tell me 'It's ok, go for it!'

I keep telling my wife I feel guilty for buying a 'me' car but we have a great, reliable family truckster (Lexus SUV) so...I've started my search and I keep coming back to the Camaro..time and time again. I guess it's to be. . I've recently been looking at the Charger R/T (2011) and test drove it for a second time today. Great car, just very little muscle car 'feel'. Feels like a luxury car that a large engine was stuffed in it. Incredibly well equipped and my daughter likes the second row cup holders. The seat bolsters leave much to be desired.

This car will be for me to get back and forth to work (13-15mi) and the Friday night dinner out with the kiddos (18mos and 5) and tooling around town on the weekends. My 5yo sits in a booster and she'll fit no problem. A little concerned about the 18mo and the front facing car seat but I'm vertically challenged (5'-8") and my wife is 5'2", so I think I should be in the clear. Just don't want to be selfish with my purchase and have it sitting at home on the weekends!!!


There are plenty of dealers here in Atlanta and I've had some good experiences so far. Start a new job tomorrow and thought I'd post my good news after being unemployed for 18mos!!!. Hate to be a new hire and showing up with a new ride early in my tenure but this bimmer is eating me alive in repairs!!Now it's all about colors. My wife likes no stripes but she says 'It's your car'. I'm all about the CGM or Black w/ IOM interior, 2SS/RS.

Can you get out the swirls in the black with Zaino??
