Stopped by the dealer today to see if they had any different information on the convertibles. Every car she checked in the system had not been invoiced yet to the dealers and nothing had been shipped. She made a call up to the Business Center, but only got voicemail. She said what they've seen in the past on new models is some extensive quality checks on random cars before the first lot gets shipped. Once they're satisfied everything makes the grade, they'll send them rolling.

Personally, I feel better if they take their time. I've had a "rushed" vehicle before (anybody remember the Vega?!?). It isn't worth the trips back to the dealer.

Would you please check on the following two (mine and my friend's, ordered them both from same dealer). PMNDC5 and PHSRNV

If the codes are still 1100, how do I find out if the dealer has any allocation (when I asked yesterday, the person I was dealing with couldn't give me an answer).

They are both:
1100 Status
PHSRNV as of 11/20/2010

PMNDC5 as of 2/9/2011

It is clear they have not had allocation,
try talking to the manager...

Wish I had better news...sorry
