D2FORGED CV3-LP Preview: Deep Concave, minus the extra pounds

Hey guys,

Just wanted a share a preview of what we have in store for 2011.

This is the, the CV3-LP (LightPack). It's our take on the deep concave design, with a twist! We've retained the deep concave profile, and removed all the excess material, which results in a MUCH lighter wheel!

The design philosophy behind this wheel was weight savings, and insanely good looks.

More info:

D2FORGED CV3-LP

21x10.5"
Deep Concave
Step Lip
Titanium Brushed Center
Mirror Polished Lip with Ceramic Clearcoat
Weight: 24lbs

That is a classy looking wheel. I dig the stepped lip, as they are lighter than smooth lip wheels - and don't have the weird TPMS adapter issues. Please send me the dealer pricing info on these, as people are sure to be asking

Tony

Anything similar in mesh? In a few months we will be looking for something in high quality, mesh, lite weight, and wide.

That is freaking super sharp! Would the SS center caps you made for my MB2's fit those? Can they be made in 20"?

Exclusivity and quality have a price. Wheels are more important than paint on a vehicle, when it comes to appearance. Would you paint your car with a brush and some latex paint?

I agree. I went ahead and stepped. I just ordered Modulare H24's. (m24, with hidden hardware)
Can't wait till they come in. Took a long time to decide and thank you for all your advise about wheels. I let a local C5 forum member order them for me.
