They probably damaged it and don't want you to know. They are just buying some time. I say you go down to the dealership and check it out. I went down to my dealership as soon as I got a hint from another member that my car was coming. I got there as soon as they took it off the truck. I took pics and talked with the guys prepping my car. My salesman didn't even know i was down there and called me as I was on my way home to inform me that my car was here. I told him cool I will be there tomorrow to pick it up.

LOL

Let them fix it, that can be a problem .....at that moment.

....
No particular place to go
So we parked way out on ko-ko-mo
The night was young and the moon was gold
So we both decided to take a stroll
Can you image the way I felt
I couldn't unfasten her safety belt
Riding along in my calaboose
Still trying to get her belt a-loose
all the way home I held a grudge
for the safety belt that wouldn't budge
Cruisin' and playing the radio
with no particular place to go...

Chuck Berry....

Call to find out exactly what the problem is. Inquire if there have been any other problems (damage during shipping, etc) that would cause delay.

When they do deliver it to you, go over everything in very good light. Do you know anyone with a digital paint thickness gauge? You could tell immediately if anything had been repainted.

You would need to check underneath for signs they ran over something. The possibilities are endless.

I suppose if it really was some work done to the seatbelt they would enter it into the GM VIS system??

Sorry to hear it NiR, especially you being a fellow new yorker...

I'll be getting mine this weekend or early next week ( as soon as my dealer trades his SGM for a VR 2LT with my name on it) and i hope I don't have any issues.

Good luck.
