I've been running 305/35/20s (Nitto NT555Rs) on my car for a long time. They look great and work perfectly, but my car is the stock ride height. I know that some of the wider 305s (Pirellis for instance) will stick out past the fender line (as reported by an owner). My 305s come out flush with the fender line. I also race my car and launch it hard at the track. There's no chance of the tire rubbing or making contact.

But I wouldn't advise running 305s with a drop.

If your not planning on dropping your car, then 305s (Nitto's at least) work great. But if your plans include dropping your car, I'd stick with 295s or so like the O.P.

Here's angle pic of my car with 305 Nittos out back.

12.10s? HOLY GOD that makes me want to go to the track and give her a shot. What's your DA out there?

Right now the DA isn't so great (probably 1000' - 1500' or so). The weather is getting warmer down here (80s every afternoon) But the day I ran 12.16 @ 114.95 the DA was around -500 ft. On a warmer day with a DA around
+500 ft (temps in the 60s), I ran 12.21 @ 114.22 mph.

Would 275/40/20 fit on the front or does it need to be 275/35/20?
20 ''TSW Nurburgrings
(20x9.0) +20, 20x10.0 +35)

A 275/40/20 in the front is a perfect fit.

Man, I wish TSW would make these in a 10.5 with an offset to fit the camaro. I would get these in a heartbeat. I want at least some 305's on the back of my ride. I am lowered already and according to SGOS252382 they just won't fit. They 295's look great but they are just a little too tall for me.

I found the pic over on modern camaro it clearly shows that a 305 tire will stick out when running a 20X10 wheel on an ss. I only hope that the 22's will come in a 10.5 or 11 rear size with the correct offset:

I wonder how much the toyo would bulge in a 315.. I think you could machine the offset to a +38 and they would fit

I'm not sure how much extra contact patch on the backpad is available to machine off.
