My store manager said he hit my car he usually parks next to me to shield her from runaway carts so one day I circled his car with abot 30 carts and wrapped his car with plastic wrap we use on the pallets and went and told him what the heck you did hit my Camaro we go outside and he sees his car he was cool about it I even let him drive her one day he wants one

i am surrounded by ford and ricer guys' at work. Only person that owns another camaro( a 4th gen) isn't the brightest crayon, so I don't really converse with him much.
The relentless jab's about the car never stop, lol. It's all in good fun tho, especially when you lay a nice one liner back at em. |

When the car had 1700 miles, someone backed into the door leaving a basketball size dent. (no worry, new door skin has been installed)
When people looked at the car, they wouldn't say nice car or looks cool or anything like that. They would just stand there staring at the dent and make some comment.  My wife would not even drive it until it's fixed because she got sick of hearing about it.

I hate that shit because I take it seriously. Last time a co worker did that I blocked her car in so she couldnt leave. Told her it looked like someone backed into her car, hehe.

I get the same thing, not sure why people think it is funny. When I spent this much time working on my F 150 with MODS I got the same treatment. I just don't understand why they think it's funny. It doesn't matter what you drive, it's not funny.

Only one of my co workers jokes around about it but usually thats escalated from us bashing back and forth in good fun.. soon as the Camaro joke comes out im like WHOA BRO, TOO PERSONAL.. we laugh and move on.
If anything people seem to have a fair amount of respect for my car and really like it. We usually spend a lot of time talking about exotics unless we find somthing extrodinary about one of our own cars. I still get people asking if its mine or what car I drive and I tell them that I have a hoopty on 20s smile and walk away.

This happens to me at least twice a day. I park all the way out where it's only me, and some contractors Corvette.
