My only worry is............................................

What color options will be available. I was quoted as saying that I want nothing but the silver coupe, but looking at the awesome photoshops that were posted on this website, that ship had sailed:p . I think that a vary of color option for this beauty will be glorious. I know that one can go elsewhere to get a color make-over but having it at our behest upon delivery, I think, will be be very good.

The only thing im worried about is if the production model has the same eye catching ability the concept has. To do that i think it needs to keep the same proportions. From what ive seen, Mr. Lutz is really big on proportions so all we need to do is to trust GM.
Well i think they said they believe they are makeing the best car in its class ever. Enough said.

What if I were to remind you....that there will be an "affordable V8 well under 30k"?
Well, if that's more than speculation....I'd be VERY PLEASED!!! I just heard recently about the two V6's so that worried me.

I agree that it wouldn't make sense for the Camaro to come out and it can't match the Mustang GT's entry level V8. So...I'm just worried a bit since everything right now is speculation.

Cubanaso, where did you hear that ^ from? I'd be just fine with an entry level V8 for well under $30K. I'm sure they can do it, because like I said the G8 GT comes in under $30K, and that is for a nicely equipped full size sedan. Sure the G8's V8 has "only" 362 hp, but it has nearly 400 lb-ft of torque, and all that is plenty enough to be fast anyway.

I'm also wondering about colors. I really hope they have a nice green with white stripes. In the Camaro Word section on Chevy Nation they did say some of the updates would be about color trends, so I can't wait for those to come out.

I am worried that the rear will stink like the one in the CTS-V. They wheel hop and will destroy themselves with a few hard launches. More than that I am worried I can't wait for the car to come out and will buy something else.

I don't understand what it is about the current GM IRS's that makes them so weak, and fragile...

Could someone elaborate...and then use what we know about Zeta to combat these "crappy rears" worries?

anyone know if they're going with fiberglass for sure? This will cut down on weight.

Probably.....not.
If you say that because some of the concepts are fiberglass...that's because they're concepts...and to create a stamp to create body panels for 5 cars isn't the best idea given that things can change...

If they did anything like that, it'd have to be Carbon-fiber...and that's expensive...so No on that, too

Welcome, btw! I love seeing new members join. Makes me smile

thanks for the welcome...
I was thinking fiberglass more for the reason that the 4th gen has fiberglass body panels...(minus the hood and the rear quarters). I just thought they'd keep that up.

Yeah, going with fiberglass is kinda pointless. Its just as difficult to mass produce and weighs more than cf. sure it costs less but it costs way more than steel.
