San Andreas is on land so no Tsunami would come from an earthquake on that fault line BUT there are 2 more fault lines just off the California coast that are a definate Tsunami threat to those on the left coast. Not to be taken lightly.

I am still waiting for Godzilla...I mean, we have the major earthquake...radiation leak...massive holes opening in the earth...shouldn't Mothra and Godzilla be duking it out somewhere near Tokyo right now? All of those movies could not have been a lie, could they?

And no, I am not a dick...I really hope that the loss of life is not a great as it seems it will be. It is a horrible horrible situation over there right now, and the Nuke plant has everyone on the planet nervous. I joke to ease the strain.

This is bad. I feel so sorry for the Japanese people. There are a lot of people without food or water. I hope they get help soon.

As for the reactors, I hope they get everything under control. Its a bad situation on all fronts. The nuclear industry is going to take a beating for this, which isnt good considering Im just starting my career in the field.

There's really less to worry about than the news is reporting...but, as I'm sure you know, it's easy to fear nuclear power and radiation if people don't understand...

Still...talk about a "perfect storm".....that plant took a one-two-THREE hit punch...I hope they can regain control of the situation.
