Cheaper to buy another Camaro in the color you like
Unless you strip the body down to a bare shell, there is no way a complete color change squirt will look as good as factory. Traces of the original color will be visible everywhere.
The color a car came with is like a tattoo, you are stuck with it.

whats wrong with the color you have. Its the best, looks sleek, professional, and always looks clean, even when its dirty.

x2, never understood the logic of painting over an undamaged car finish.

I took it that he wanted a complete paint job, not necessarily a color change...

Paint work in your area must be double from where I am. I ran a body shop for years and the average for a pristine paint job including removing all trim and using PPG paint and clearcoat ran about $5k.

This is going to be completely up to you... Some shops will spray a same color shoot on it after ju8st a scotch brite rub down and cleaning... not much money... and then there are some shops that will literally put a show car finish on. I'm talking perfectly flat paint, with no ripples and no orange peel... but you pay out the wazoo for that, and there is everything in between...

You just have to find some reputable shops and figure out what you want... I know one guy that lightly sanded his car down and added stripes and sprayed an avaition grade clear coat on it and it is beautiful... Only cost him the paint since a friend sprayed it for him...

Look around when you go to shows and whatnot, ask questions, take notes, and figure out what you want... It really is a loaded question...

Lol you just got trolled.

OP around $3,000 should get you a good paint job. And I'll probably get mine done in about 4 years because the paint on these cars suck. Too many chips and it scratches too easily. Im going to get it redone using an oil based paint rather than water.
