yeah they're not the brightest creatures. In high school I had a buddy with a little geo metro hatchback. a bull moose came out of the woods and hit him square in the passenger side door. Luckily he was driving alone, or whoever was in the passenger seat would have been dead for sure. Nearly rolled the car and the moose just sauntered back into the forest like nothing happened.

the heck with deer whistles, couple of fender mounted .50 cals should do the trick. Just make sure you're full on wiper fluid after you continue driving through the red mist haha

i haven't hit a deer but i hit a horse with a guy riding it! it was at 4am on a back road this particular road has no lights. and the drunk guy driving the horse didn't have reflectors or lights on his horse. To say the least i got lucky hit the hind legs and the horse flew over my cabin and crushed my bed. the guy riding the horse fled the scene, i swear its his world we just live in it. My employer tried to write me up for coming in late next day but when i brought him the proof from pics and the police report he let it slide plus it was my bday.

I always brake and swerve to the best of my driving skills to avoid striking an innocent woodland creature. I don't feel quite the same about lawyers though, where's a good place to find 'em? I've already tried in the grass, but I only found snakes...

Well it wasn't that close to my car. I didn't slow down either, it was running for its life :P Like I said, not the smartest, but still interesting nonetheless.

I didn't know deer kicked though, thanks for the tip!

How good is camel meat for eating? It appears that there ought to be plenty of steaks and roasts to go around.
Is the skin worth tanning for leather?

In hindsight, I probably should've just stopped and waited longer, but anyway, in case any of you were wondering the Camaro is faster than a deer.
On a related note, there's a similar story on this site... http://www.fmylife.com/miscellaneous/15266728
