May your convertible come without the automatic fast food trash generator. "leaving it unattended with the top down and things magically appear in it"

Got the garage door programmed, was actually easier than on my other Camaro for some reason, or maybe I just did it right the first time. The instructions are pretty confusing.

Also another glitch I wonder if anyone else is experiencing is every once in a while with the magnetic seat belt clip attached, i reach back for my seat belt and the buckle seams to have slid back past the clip and i have to worm it back to my side. Here is pic to show you what I am talking about.

Right on! Worked for me too. It was very stiff to turn, but sure enough, it worked.

Those seat belt loops are almost useless to me, they pop open at the slightest tug resulting in the seat belt falling back through. Where's my superglue!?!?!?!

On a positive note, I reset the garage door opener again and started from scratch, with my wife pressing the buttons and me giving directions, for some reason it worked this time.....the range is short but it does work!

I'm going to print up the tonneau cover bolt install instructions and bring them to the dealer this weekend, I doubt they'll go for the lock washers though, but I'll try. I looked to install them myself but couldn't manage to get the plastic to pop off and didn't want to damage it.

Have I mentioned I really like that drivers door trunk button!!

The key trunk release is only to open the trunk, not to lock it. If you have a dead battery or take the battery out and close the trunk, you won't be able to open it by the key-fob or door button. The back seat on the non-convertibles can be opened and allow access to the trunk to pull the release lever, but since the convertible's back seat doesn't go down the key is the fail safe.

Here's one for you guys to watch, apparently BOTH mufflers are shot, bad rattle and sputter. My repair got has replacements on order for next week sometime. Had about 420 miles on it.
Keep your ears open!

There's a series of 3 (maybe 4) metal clips holding it.in place. If you start at the inner most edge, you should be able to.get it off fairly easy... at least mine were.

Thanks Drago, since I had to get the exhaust checked out anyhow, I just had the dealer do it. Haven't had it on at speed yet due to (what else here in W. WA) rain.

Not really a "glitch" but something interesting I found out today- while having my rally stripes painted on the head painter pointed out to me that there was a spot repaired already on the trunk... I couldn't tell, but he was pointing out an area he said was repainted and blended in to the trunk... hmmmm a brand new car that was already reworked!

Not that unusual. If you watch the 'Ultimate Factories' episode for the Camaro, they show the part of the assembly line that inspects the paint and fixes any flaws they detect. They show him seeing a flaw, sanding it, and buffing it out all in about 2 min.
