Whats HulaX?

I'll probably make it to the car show on saturday in Mililani. Havent been driving it much due to the rain showers lately.

Was checking on the forum if there are others out there where thier brake calipers were fading, and found out that its happening to alot of fourm members. Thiers even a sticky on one of the threads. Found a webpage where they will paint and put the brembo logos on the caliper and then clearcoat it if you like, and they also have a core exchange. That way when you get the painted ones mounted, then you send in your original calipers. About 15 pages on the thread and sounds like a reputable shop doing the work.

Not sure how long the waiting list is on the core exchange group, but still trying to figure out what color to paint mine. I drive a silver camaro with carbon fiber gray ralley stripes. Any color suggestions? Right now thinking of black to match my stripes.

HulaX is a form of time attack on an off-road course currently held at Kalaeloa Raceway Park. On lap is about a minute long. This is not for daily drivers. Mostly off road trucks, lots of beater, our Subaru's etc. Check out Kalaeloaracewaypark.com for pictures and details.

Ok, SCCA on Sunday! I'll be in heat 2 and will probably have my 4th Gen. Just picked it up today and seems to be running fine.

Hi Z Madness, saw ur car at the Hawaiian Auto Show. Pretty cool seeing your car dressed out for the SCCA races.

Was disappointed that there were no 808camaros at the show. Guess Dean didnt get a good response when he sent the email out requesting cars to be displayed.

I believe this weekend is the Hawaii Kai Car Show. I'll be there for sure since its less than a mile from my condo.

Show is on Saturday. There are a couple of mid mount twin kits coming out. Definetely recommended this. Should help you the next time a Honda pulls up next to you. lol. How are you liking the springs?

springs definitely improved the look but not the ride comfort. it handles slightly better on turns.

I'm in....

okay, I was going to put off buying a Camaro until I got back to the mainland. Went to Cutter looking at a SGM 2SS/RS with the sunroof, they were still asking $6995 mark up plus the mando $1395 Hawaii protection package (almost $48K total).

Took a trip out to Servco, asked if they had any SS's with a sunroof... no they did not, but they did have a Silver 1SS convertible in the showroom. I say did because I sat in it and had to have it. 3 hours later I was driving down the H-1 praying it would not rain!

It REALLY does bring a smile to you face when you drive it!!
