I would recommend PM'ing Jeff Morris, Chevrolet Customer Service. He's on the forum.
Also, it seems like some of the LS3 & GT500 guys are having similar issues with their Tremecs.

Car burns a little rubber and will short shift and delay shift most of the time. I have never experienced anything like this in any car I have ever owned. I would not race anyone for money because of this issue. Converter has made it worst. Moreover, there has been no one I know can seem to tune the A6 perfectly.

This thread is about V6 cars with six-speed manual transmissions.

All I'm saying is it's not like GM built the car knowing the transmission would fail, but experience is the most brutal of teachers and obviously Aisin was a bad choice, so until they find a replacement and issue the recall all we can do is wait and keep checking with our dealers and with GM.
@2011Camaro. Hey man sorry.. i did not mean to sound mean well at least not at you... I am mad as hell at GM and yes currently I am going to run out of warranty by the middle of next year. Been hearing about GM and replacement transmission for about 1 year now ... 9 month and a few days now since my tranny problems got to be unbearable. I had to yell at GM customer service to inspect the transmission... Been having too many issues all they wanted to do was to replace the slave cylinder. I seriously doubt that GM is taking our concerns seriously. I have even posted on their FB... no answer except call this lame 1800 number and waste a few days convincing us you have a problem .. Finally once they opened it up they realized the slave cylinder was not working properly...So sorry GM lost my benefit of the doubt months ago ... If you have to tell them for 9 months straight that the clutch is malfunctioning OMG... They even wanted to charge me thinking that its all in my imagination cause their mechanics were not able to reproduce the problem.. Video evidence was not enough... Well I guess I have more experience with standard transmissions than their techs.. go figure .. no wonder they cannot find a replacement tranny or fix the issue..

Again sorry if come off as mad or harsh its not directed to any of the forum members just frustrated with GM..

PS the GMC rental they gave me started to have transmission issues at 6000km(and yes its a stupid automatic) and I did not have the time to return it..

I wonder if they put the AISIN crap on their trucks too?

That's the ultimate irony when the rental they give you has tranny issues too.. LOOL

piticu667- You must drive A LOT man. I'm relatively certain though that if it is a recall then it should still get replaced regardless of warranty status. No hard feelings, I know you're frustrated beyond belief! Seems as if he service up there in Canada really sucks!

I feel bad for you guys. Service here in the States seems to be much better then what you are receiving there.

Dude no hard feelings again sorry if I come off harsh , I am upset with GM not the ppl on the forum .. Believe or not I appreciate your input .Trust me service in the states is way better... My rep went on holiday and asked for another reps extension still did not receive it.. Pis**d off beyond belief.. At some point in time I was contemplating driving the car to the states so that I can deal with US customer service..

@Camaro2011 I drive a lot for work as I am self employed and my customers are all over the place. As far as warranty transmission replacement goes I doubt they will do it in Canada... From my experience I can tell you everything is better in the states from taxes to customer service...

Just consider this: in Canada there is no lemon law.. If they do not fix it properly this time I will serve GM.. I guess I have to take my chances...
I cannot afford a car that keeps failing. It caused me to lose a contract last time it failed. I lost a 10K contract because the stupid thing would not go into gear.. One week before that I was on the phone with GM asking them to fix it.. Their answer was working as designed..
Again man sorry if I come off harsh pis**d off at GM not at you.

The people that handle the GM facebook page probably dont even work in the TECH department so I wouldnt expect much response from that page regarding issues like this.
