I have been debating the same thing. I can do it myself in no time and save the $$ in labor but I am worried that it will never be aligned the same as it is now out of the factory. Sure I would take it to a dealer for alignment but would they really align it as good as the factory? I have seen shops do alignments before and the techs don't always know what they are doing or simply do a half ass alignment.

You don't bottom out with that amount of drop and your ride is improved in my opinion. DO IT!!!

I don't know why shops charge so much to do springs, I'm doing mine right now and they are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much easier than front 4th gen springs! You honestly don't even need the spring compressor to reassemble.

I have a set of brand new, still sealed in the box BMR 1" drop springs I will be selling. I might just sell them INSTALLED they are so easy to put on.
