great thread that helped me pick my color choice. I just picked up mine yesterday. Had a nice hour and a half drive home and absolutely love this car. No stripes on it yet. I am thinking about doing a retro DX1 stripe on it like my 1969 had in white or silver or cyber grey...probably white though as that is one of the original color options for that stripe in 69.

I had mine removed. I know some people like them and they are repro. looking, but a solid color with these great body lines is the bomb for this car, IMO.

I LOVE the subtlety of the black stripes. I have to admit though, when I checked the car out the day it arrived at the dealership, I thought they didn't put the stripes on cause I didn't see them at first glance.
