About to scoop some rims, help me with my final decision please!

Alright, so I'm about to pick up some rims for my black LS. The original thought was to get 18s so I didn't have to waste the stock rubber on the stock heritage 18s, however, 18s just look to small so I bumped my preference up to 20s and will just sell the stock rubber.

I am stuck between these two rims, any input is HIGHLY appreciated!

Opinions and reasoning for the opinions? Do I need a 10 in the back? Wahts everyones take! Thanks so much I am so amped to get new rims! Also, is there a big price difference on the rubber for each of the above rims?

Prices for tires on either of these wheels will be about the same. You could probably find a set of take offs in the members classified section and save some money. On the other hand these wheels are going to be very heavy.

Since I have an LS anyways I am more going for show then go, ... Not to say I want my v6 to be any slower, but I can't stand the stock heritage rims, and I can't afford light rims as they are like 400$ a rim + .... Any other recommendations perhaps?

If you did not have to take weight into factor on the above, which rims do YOU like better? Is it nicer IYO to have a 10 on the back?

Of the two, I would rock the Helo's. +1 to the weight, these things are gonna be heavy. But if that isnt an issue for you, rock the Helo's.

What other rims would you recommend that may be lighter? Also am I in the right i saying that if I did go w/ a lighter rim my cost per rim would atleast double? If so that is out of the question. I'm only 22 and just bought my first home as well as this car, payments right now are through the roof, thus why I couldn't get an SS :(

Or do you suggest I just get a pair of 18s that are good looking / lighter? I just think 18s are so small on our cars

Nah man dont worry about it. If performance is not a huge concern then rock the Helo's. They are a great looking wheel, plus affordable. Do what right for you. Yes you are correct, one piece wheels which are some of the lightest manufacturing types can run 500+ per wheel.

i would go with the five spoke rims , nearly all camaros have had 5 spoke rims, those others look good, but to me dont go with a camaro. do you want to look like performance or do you want to look like ghetto, your choice.

If you`re not racing I wouldn`t be all that concerned about wheel weight. The stock LS Heritage wheels weigh 33 LBS. each. Get the wheels you like and are happy with.

They both are cool, but I think I like the second one better. They look more "muscle-car". I wouldn't say the first one's look "ghetto", but they don't look like they belong on a Camaro.

I like the Sport Muscle CM5's (I'm a fan of stock), but if you're going that route, I'm with the guy above in saying that you should find a set of takeoff GM rims instead. It may save you a couple of bucks, and you could always have the inside edges powercoated black to look like the CM5's.
