There's only been a dozen people on this forum to break 12s, but it seems to happen quite often with the 5.0L. I mean, there were two former SS owners from this forum to run 12s stock in the 5.0L. Of course, I can attribute their slightly higher "average" to the fact that it is easier to launch a SRA vehicle and the 12s were usually broken by Autos.

Too bad you couldn't drive that "stock" mustang to the track though...since it's not a car that can be titled for street use.

Because it's not a street car....I'm not knocking on it, because it's awesome Ford is rolling this baby out to rip up the tracks.

Dodge offers up a program for the Challenger as well.

Sadly, at the moment...all GM is rolling out is the body in white program.

And I put it in quotes the same reason you guys even proposed this car to his challenge....we all know what he meant.

GM is supposed to be working on something.

The fact that he even proposed it, with a modified car, was ridiculous.

It was hilarious we were able to call him out on it.

Just glad I was able to call him out on it.

The LSX aftermarket is HUGE...just like the old 5.0 was. GM figures you buy the body, and use the aftermarket to build the beast.

GM seems to pour it's race car tech into the Z06/ZR1 programs, which makes sense because that's the car they race with. Still, I'd love to see them bring a bad ass Camaro package into the fold.

I'm pretty sure he was just messin....that goes back to comments made on a forum as compared to all of us sitting around busting each others balls at the track or in a parking lot.

I know exactly how worthless stock tires are when rwhp is north of 450.
