How come you say that? I don't know anything about the mustang v6 except the whole eco boost thing.

The thing is GM actually outsourced the calibration to Bosch... so in some cases GM and Ford will actually help out aftermarket companies out with their development of products... but in the case of the V6 Camaro, GM kind of has it's hands tied with Bosch... and apparently some of the GM HF V6 engineers are left scratching their heads when it comes to the ECU... So that is what really makes the V6 Camaro different from the Mustang... |

Ah ok.......now I know nothing about that motor.......LOL. But I do know that their ECM is tunable.....lol

D3 has been using stand alones because they didn't realize Trifecta had figured out a way to work with the Bosch ECM. Good news is that multiple turbo setups are using the Trifecta tune so we don't need a stand alone anymore. I am hoping that I can get something going between D3 and Trifecta as well.

I ran 12 PSI on my 4.0 without any issue at all... I know a lot of turbo and supercharged 4.0s personally... oh, and the company that claimed the 4.0 wouldn't hold up... turns out they were selling 4.0 parts... LOL! I don't doubt you've heard the same thing about the 3.7... I just think it probably a lot of the same "The Sky Is Falling!" hype we had when the 4.0s first went in the Mustang... I think it's important to understand WHO thinks the 3.7 won't hold up... |
