I installed the GMPP Hotcam (219/228 .525/.525 on 112°). I followed the directions and torque specs from this well written post: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125123, I didn't need to drop the oil pan or pull the oil pump, that made it quick and easy. I did this on a budget, but didn't cut any corners on gaskets, and parts (just didn't change springs or push rods, no need to with the hotcam). It's aggressive but sounds AWESOME! Stock I was running 376 RWHP. After a dyno tune (I also have Kooks 1 7/8 headers, high flow cats, and a K&N CAI) the results were 448 RWHP, 432 Ft Lbs Torque. The Dyno Technician figured I was making around 535 HP at the crank. This cam has good, not great daily driver manners.
The technician told me the stray lines are from the "pick up" recieving stray RF from the ignition wire.

Thanks redbee,

376 HP stock

+ K&N CAI (12) = 388
+ Catback and Tune (5) = 393
+ Headers/ HF cats (30) = 423
+ Hotcam (25) = 448

So... about 25 HP for the Hotcam ands lots of lope with reduced drivability... Thats about what I figured. I am glad someone finally put this to rest. Only thing that would be better would be to have a dyno run before and after the Hotcam.

Now you just need to get us a video

what is the GM part # for the 3 camshaft bolts?

I have the gear, but it turns out that my cam won't come with the bolts.
