You know all those folks who kept bashing us folks trying to get OnStar to support the 2010 with their phone app should really be directed to this topic the next time they dismiss the phone app as "useless". The ability to track the car withe OnStar on your phone and look at mileage and fuel use would be a great thing. Plus, you could have loads of options for "revenge"

1) Call the car and chew them out!
2) Call their boss and raise heck!
3) Call onstar and tell them to disable the car because it seems to be stolen! (wait until they are at their farthest point on their joyride and just heading back to the dealer)

NICE TIP

Hey I like the way you think leopard! Let me borrow your ride for 60 miles only. Do you know how much wear and tear I could put on your car in 60 miles? Hmmm lets see...that is 240 back to back quarter mile runs leaving the tires and brakes shredded, not to mention drivetrain and suspension wear.

I really don't see how the onstar app could have helped in this situation. You'd have to be hitting refresh every 5 minutes to see the milage go up. You wouldn't know there is an issue until it's too late, Anyway.

60 miles is a lot for a dealer to put on a car unless they are driving it for some sort of drivability issue.

This dealer drove a Subaru 106mph while it was in for service. The dealer was busted with a recordable gps in the vehicle.

Not yet but thank you. If the dealer decides to stick to it's ridiculous story of needing to drive it that far to see if the light would turn on, then yes, I will be calling everybody. I am actually giving these idiots a chance to come clean.
