Wish I could have that same approach This is why I do not want to re-enlist... The military doesn't seem to be respected enough to get paid on time in the eyes of the white house... Yet they all will still get their well-off paychecks

The las one didn't affect the military. But this contains the federal defense budget... So we would still work and not get paid. Eventually we will get back paid, but that doesn't help pay the rent/car payment on time and banks are never understanding

Here's a link to what was broadcasted to the military http://www.defense.gov/news/newsarticle.aspx?id=63462

No Paid Leave of absence will be approved until there is a buget in place.

I am in the same boat, I will be mandated to work or be classified AWOL, and not get paid until the budget is resolved.

My problem still has not been solved, as the budget is only through Thursday. I still up in the air about Friday.

I think you are golden, they anounced the deal has been made for the balance of this budget year. Now it is only the formal vote to go. The real battle now will be for next years budget.

Jose, If we are able to go, we are thinking about leaving between 0545 - 0600, so that we can get up there and still be able to eat breakfast with the Texas East group before we leave. Let me know if this will work for you as well.
