Hopefully we'll get another commercial, showcasing the ZL1.

That's so great - my students tell me all the time how cool my car is!

Just this week at Texas Motor Speedway they also had a fleet of black convertibles parading around the track. They also did exclusives around the Superbowl and they have T3 coming up. TV is a mass media strategy bu his is not a really a mass audience car. While it would be nice to see Camaro spots all the time its not really an effective use of marketing money. They get alot more band for the buck doing these events and things like T3.

They get big credit in my book for looking at a bunch of alternative strategies for getting this car in front of eyeballs. Plus I think not being on TV so much really adds to the allure and mystique of this car. I think it tends to make people ohh and ahh a little more because they don't see it everyday.

you're very astute!

Those of us that 'aren't so young' still look at TV advertising as the most efficient advertising medium.........it hasn't been for quite some time!

Used to be you bought 30 second spots on ABC, CBS, and NBC........now there are literally hundreds of channels to select from - and you can blow thru a LOT of money and still not see a result........so you'd better be very selective when you DO advertise on TV........

(I don't know about you, but when I watch TV, I use the commercial breaks to run to the laundry room, the kitchen, the 'loo', check email and voice mail.....and do all of those little errands and tasks that don't get done when they should......so 'reaching' me in an ad is somewhat difficult.......what about each of you???)

So - as pointed out above - it's important to look at all strategies - including putting the Camaro in movies and TV shows.......

Something else to think about (in addition to Number 3's point about Mustang selling for a lot of years when there wasn't a Camaro to select from.....).....

.......Mustang up until late January had Coupes, Convertibles, and the GT-500 -- and Camaro still outsold it. Also consider that Mustang had to rely on incentives (cash on the hood) - and Camaro STILL outsold it.

Make no mistake: -- we are not sitting back on our laurels.....we are very closely monitoring sales and inventories........and when the time is appropriate, you will see additional marketing dollars - but don't count on seeing it only in 'traditional' media -

Thanks. I'm a student of the game!

I will say that I think that Team Camaro could get A LOT of fantastic "webisode" type content by shooting segments on some of the members of this forum. Somewhat like the "Disciple" program you did but maybe a little more current and a bit more on how creative the community has been with the car. Hopefully you guys will bring a camera crew down to CF5-2 and shoot a ton of content and release it through your social media channels.

Also, it would be fantastic if from time to time Team Camaro did a little behind the scenes Ustream segment that we could tune into.

Over all you guys are doing a great job and I think it shows in the sales numbers, just keep pumping out content for us to enjoy and push out to the non-believers.

+1 on the webisodes. Perhaps since this is an American car, why not have a pair of people drive it across country exploring the secret treasures of America? It will show the comfort, style and reliability of the Camaro while getting real peoples reactions as it comes into town. Then we get to see all the great cultures, festivities and recreations that are classically American.

Cause if I was in your place that is exactly what I would do.

As they say great minds think alike.

Have a great time down there. Unfortunately I can't make it this year so I'm depending on you guys for tons of great video content. So yeah no pressure there.
