is it possible to make the rims not flat black, but glossy black?
and do you think i could make an orange painted ring outside around?
and the biggest question: i live in texas and does this hold up to 110F in worst case or would it melt?

You can try a clear coat over it to give it a shine.

You could make a pinstripe around the rim, but it would be pretty thin.

It should hold up fine in hot weather.

not sure how well a brush will work. Once you dip the brush in the plasti dip, after a while it will dry, and then you'll have a clump of plastic as a brush. lol

You could try a paint gun, if you have an air compressor.

I guess we'll find out! haha, it's on a spare set of 1LT rims. Plasti-dip is cheap, so if it doesn't work, then no real loss. I'll try to do it this weekend, unless I get a day off before that and the weather is good.

after seeing the pics of the summit white with the black wheels, i think i am going to give this a try. One question though, are you guys doing the inside of the wheels too? I cant tell from the pics?
