I got it, and like I mentioned, I'm originally trying to get down there for a modern hemi shootout on the 22nd, and with the gov't shutdown, I might just make that sucker. if the gov't is still shutdown by the 29th, I'll try and make that too forced unpaid vacation, might as well have some fun while it's happening I guess

Silly stuff, I'll take on all challengers (no pun intented), skill on a track and knowing how to drive counts for a lot. I have that from the AZ HP. Eibach suspension is next, along with wheels and drag radials. Win or lose, it's damn fun racing. I wonder how many here have actually done it.

The new 2011 Challanger SRT8 is faster

Camaro 9.1lb/hp versus the:

Challengers SRT8 8.94lb/hp.

Now if you are talking about the old SRT...different story.

The 2010 SRT loses at 9.72lb/hp

Skill and mods are one thing but the thread was challenger SRT8 vs Camarro SS

I spanked one the other day- from a dig- and a roll- with a passenger- and I gave him "the move" THE END.

They allow roll racing at the track you raced at?

It's like we've gone back in time.... Anyway, I'm going to Camarofest in Chandler, AZ this Friday and get some more runs in. I'm gonna try the stock tune and modify the canned DS tune. I also need to try a "rolling" start as opposed to flooring it. I'm also gonna try running my wife's 2010 GT. Switch cars. V6 owners, this is for you, to give you an idea about going up against a newbie at the track against an RT. I encourage all of you to go hit the track, bench racing is absolutely dumb. I'll post my numbers, somebody will figure out the DA... I certainly have been have been humbled by my first set of numbers. On a certain Challenger forum, they say I should be running 13's and into the 100's.

Very nice looking Challenger. You should break into the 13s with ease, post your results, before and after tune.

The top of 1st and 2nd gear each saw me another half a car better than him then apparently 3rd utterly destroyed him. To the smartass who was digging up trouble, about where I raced- I raced him from a roll on an old Indian burial ground,my baby seal lumbar supports held me steady enough to text inappropriate pictures to a cheerleader as I shifted gears. You shoulda been there!

Wish I would've been there, then I could've provided video to accompany my little smiley guy with his cute flag. LMAO at you racing Challengers at an old Indian burial ground. You should start your own reality TV show....

You're more proof that "car lengths" vary depending on who's telling the story
