I talked my car down a grand off sticker plus a $500 increase in my trade-in. Mine is a 2011 1LT w/ 3 miles on it. There is some wiggle room, but not much.

I call on this one. $29k after taxes for a 2LT? Unless you are in a tax free state the car would have to be around 25-26K before Tax/Title/and other fees.

I don't. That's what I paid for mine. 28,9xx out the door. Tax, title, license and even a few incentives. The dealers have room to work with you, if you're willing to stick it out, do your homework, and be assertive. I only had 1k down, and got full trade-in on my old car for 7500, so I only financed about 22k. Car had 200 miles on it cause they had used it for test drives, but nothing was out of order. The dealer just REALLY wanted it off the lot. Juss sayin.
And Illinois is def NOT tax free, lol

So? Was there a price hike? (not trying to be a smart-a$$, I really don't know and am curious). I thought 2011 2LT's were still starting at 27K? Obviously it depends on what options you get, but if that was the case you could easily walk out the door for 29K.
Again, not trying to argue, my point was to just be prepared when you go to a dealer. Mine was stickered for 32,xxx and I got almost 4K knocked off.
