Yes..you guys have something in the water in Hogtown..

I wouldn't be so against it if they used the tricolor symbol or said CAMARO like the 10s and 11s...looks like it fell off the cruze, right onto the Camaro.

The standard leather is OK, it's not specific to the Camaro like the current one is which I think detracts from the car.

i know that soon there would be aftermaket options for this. how about changing it to a 2010-11 steering wheel? or better yet, the GRANT steering wheel and just buy the airbag/center piece of the steering wheel.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ????

by the way, what's the order part number of the steering wheel airbag/center piece?
That would be your first mistake. I like it and it addresses most of the complaints about the Camaro steering wheel.

Never understood why when GM invested extra money to give the Camaro a unique wheel everbody complained. Now that the Camaro gets the newest and best wheel from GM..................more complaints.

At 1st I did not like the new wheel until I test drove a Cruze now I actually like it and I look forward to it for my 2012 45th Anniversary Convertible

You would think that it would have some special 45th designation/logo on it or keep it the same as the 10 and 11's. I dont hate it or love it.

This is the wheel I just ordered for my '10, made by Ace. I don't like the stock wheel and the '12 wheel doesn't look much better!

anyways, what do you guys think about buying the old steering to replace this fugly thing ?
i can't post pics of the GRANT steering wheel because i'm on my iphone. can anyone please post it?
I still dont think you can say most either. I like the new look. Just because some complain you cant but the majority of Camaro buyers in this group.

I am sure they did enough research where it was warranted to change to this wheel.

Meh. What did you expect? It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. People are always going to complain.

All I care about is that after hearing a lot of reviews complaining about the steering wheel, GM changed it. And that shows that GM is serious about keeping this car updated.

Funny, last I checked, the Volt's steering wheel looked much more similar.

The wheel in the current Camaro is horrible. In fact, it is the single piece of the car that I can say that I hate, 100%.

The feel of it is ok (could be better) but the part I hate the most about it is the fact that the steering wheel controls are impossible to push. The inward slant of the control area makes it not ergonomic and so I have to take my hands off the wheel to push them anyway.

If the new wheel gets ride of that slant, well, that's a start. Now they need to get rid of that cheap, piece of crap, up and down toggle thing they use for radio source and cruise control.
