Yessiree! We have ANOTHER "Panic du Jour!!!!" In the tradition of: >Those headlights are STUPID! >A "B" Pillar????? The car will NEVER sell!!! >The SS fascia is hideous! People will be removing them and replacing them with the V6 fascia!!!! >The Instrument panel is enough to make you go sterile!!!! The car will never sell!!!!! AND NOW: The Steering wheel! Funny thing: We have a ZL1 and a 45th Anniversary Camaro at Camaro5Fest as we speak - and people are loving what they see......not everyone...... but most! What I suggest we do is come back to this thread one year later.......someone please remember to on April 15, 2012................. ..........and we'll see how people feel then.......... (sorry - I've been in the hot sun all day..........so forgive my 'wit'......)

I wonder what he means? Will some other economy (parts bin) move for the 2013 model rear its ugly head a year from now? Sure glad I got my R6P SS with "Camaro" steering wheel, no back up sensors and no expensive camera system forced on me.

I don't think it's ugly by any means. Kinda universal, maybe, with the bowtie instead of "CAMARO", but it's a good looking steering wheel.

My 2008 Silverado broke last year and was down almost two months. They gave me an HHR rental, and I complained that I needed a truck. One day, they call to come pick up a truck (rental). It was a freaking 4 cylinder Canyon! I got the idea that somebody said "He wants a truck...okay, we'll give him a 'truck'", while they laughed into their shirtsleeves. I get the idea that somebody at GM said something along the same lines when they heard complaints about the debut steering wheel, and grinned about saving money in the process.

That Impala wheel looks as good as the 2012 to me, so bring it on; doesn't much matter.
