sorry i knew i wouldnt be able to get away if the the weather got bad out, and the last i knew we were going to get storms, it turned out we didnt but my baby was resting, we are leaving at 8 am to go to camaro fest in az. the yellow with black one is the chiefs dads car.

What day is the Show & Shine at the Cattle Congress? Hopefully not the last weekend of May. My sister is having a Graduation party and I'm not sure I will be able to get out of there early enough to hit up a car show.

The annual 4th Street Cruise, in Vinton, is on saturday July 23rd this year at 7:00 PM. Registration starts at 3:00 PM.

Being from Vinton originally, I know there are a ton of classic muscle cars in town that cruise on this night.

It's a great time and all should come!!!

ok guys and gals, made it back from arizona and would like to try and get another iowa meet and greet put together. looking at may 21st. not sure on times or location as of yet, would take help putting this together, and or ideas.

I have been to sycamore a few times. Been only new camaro most of the time. Still fun people like to look and talk about it. Would love to meet up at it sometime. Bad things is I work Friday nights but I can sneek away if someone is for sure coming. I know we need more interest in a meet and greet doesn't look like the weekend I picked is good but its what I have off.

Hey guys and gals just wanted to let you know there is a car show in waterloo on may 22nd from 9 to 4. could be an easy way to set up a meet and greet. it is at rydell chevy. i am going to go as it is where i got my car from. hope some of you guys can make it out!!

Rats I'm going to be in Florida then! Hey a buddy of mine just got a IBM 2SS/RS last week. He lives in North Liberty , you might see him aroound . this puts his total to 3RD,4TH, and 5TH gen camaro!

Hi 5th gen owners:
wanted to give out a shout for a couple of events that the Mid-Iowa Camaro Club is participating in, but are open to any Camaro owner.

1st event is the Deery Bros car show in Pleasant Hill, Iowa on May 14th from 9AM to 4PM, cost for showing is $20.00 before the show, or $25.00 day of the show
(proceeds will go to Rosenfels-Orton Football camp)

2nd event is a cruise from Des Moines (May 21st meeting at BP Amoco station on I35/80 on University Ave at 9:00AM to leave at 9:45AM) This cruise is going to Bethany, Missouri to meet up with the Kansas City Camaro Club, for lunch and a non-judged show & shine at the Camaro's Restrant located East of the main turn off at Bethany. This is open to all Camaro owners (do not have to belong to a either club)

Had a good turn out at the Iowa State Fairgounds last night for the weekly cruise. Visited with a couple of real nice 5th gen owners, and got ideas for my own. I think one guys name was Dan and he had a beautiful white SS done very tasteful in white with black trim. The other folks had a 10/11 yellow LT and had lots of plans for the future (sorry didn't get a name, but they both post on this site). The Fairgrounds cruise is scheduled each Tuesday for the rest of May, then they go to a spotty schedule due to other events. Hope to see more 5th gen's in the future (and I'll leave the Vette home, and drive the Camaro).
