Yeah man nice meeting ya and nice ride. I played around a bit yesterday and tried out my GoPro HD camera. That thing takes amazing video. I'll try to post some up later.

You need to come to the track with me on April 2nd. Don't worry about not having DRs.....I ran my street tires all last year...E.T.s weren't phenomenal but the MPH was good.

What time are you going? I know that I am not running tomorrow night though... Still working on tires. Ben Freeland's secretary made an appointment with me today to meet with Ben, but she did not mark it down so i drove all they way there for nothing. I got upset with them and I was advised by the General Manager that he would personally have Ben Freeland call me tomorrow and meet with me. I got my money back through Visa for their crappy work, but if they dispute it then here we go again. Depending on what time you go though I might be a spectator.

I'm heading up about 3-3:30pm. Gates open at 5pm. With nice cool air it should get interesting. I'm trying to claim the fastest 6 speed Challenger title on our forum and figure tomorrow night I gotta make it happen.

Kinda funny since at this time last year I was kinda like you are. Didn't really care to run the car at all, just supercharged it for fun, and forged the motor to keep it reliable. Now here I am. I gotta beat my PB of 12.03 at 118.26. If I do it I'll post up some video. The car could likely do 11.50s all day with the right driver....but I ain't it LOL.

I ran on my street tires all last season, so you can do that too. It's really not a big deal. You won't set any E.T. records (I tried and failed miserably) but you'll at least see if you have the horse power you think you have by the MPH in the run. That tells the tale regardless of how much you spin off the line. Just leave TC on and ease in to it in 1st and 2nd and let it rip in 3rd and 4th.

I'd never even been at a drag strip in my life until last August. I was at ChallengerFest and some of my friends there encouraged me to give it a try. I ran a pathetic 12.9x at 105MPH hahaha. I hit the brakes before the traps.

I've got 9 runs under my belt now and have an idea of what's going on. Once you do it a time or two it's no big deal really. Now I just need to practice my launch on the DRs and run some 11s.

Ray, nice seeing you and Dave I think it was at the track last night. We all need to start our own little mini car shows around here or something.

I cracked off a 11.79 last night. Here's the video.

Now I'm shooting for 11.50s.

You 2 Speedy... You had a few great runs last night and Dave did not do to bad as well. I can wait to get some new tires so I can run mine as well. As far as the mini ones let's do it. I am sure that we can get some folks to show up and start our own thing!! Look forward too seeing you more at the shows and the track this summer. By the way... PM me your phone number. Thx

Welcome aboard Travis!! There are a few of us that meet-up from time to time and we should be hopefully doing more this summer if the weather ever straightens out. Speedy1975, Camaro RS/SS10, Big Boss and myself all went to Beechbend Track a couple weeks ago and Speedy and Dave Camaro RS/SS10 both ran some nice numbers. Big Boss and myself were spectators, but I am running it the next time I go. I been trying to get some drag radials but the wife stated I have been spending too much lately...LOL... She is right though... Probably should have put it toward the teenagers college fund. I do know there is a car show at The Avenue in Murfreesboro on May 6th and there should be a pretty decent turnout if it doesn't rain. I will be there if work permits. I work for an insurance claims office and we have not had a break in a long while due to severe weather in several states that I help support. I also would like to get a group and head back to the track soon as well. I am sure some of the other guys will chime in as well with events and meet-ups that some of us will come up with.

Very cool. Thanks for the welcome. I'll have to keep my eye on the May 6th thing in Murfreesboro. I am a musician, so my schedule can be a little volatile at times. Probably try to go to that one though.
