Hi Jeff,

Is the 45th aniversary color hard to maintain like regular black? Are you adding any new blue's for 2012?

It's a very dark color, so....yes.

The 45th is a regular production 2012 MY car...so whenever '12 ordering opens you should be able to get one...I'm not sure they'll make an announcement on when ordering opens - your dealer should be able to tell you.

If that doesn't work, Becky from Rodgers Chevy here on the site I'm sure will post something up.

I read through the thread a few days ago but don't remember- has a price for the 45th Anniversary package been named yet? I am very interested in finally making my first Camaro one of these (and better yet, the wife is sort of behind this idea already )

It would be nice if the dash and door panels matched. Maybe Carbon Flash Metallic? Not white or whatever color they are. If they change the interior, they need to coordinate the color theme inside better. The 2010's have way too many colors. Matte Black, Chrome, Some gold color (Stereo etc) Gloss Silver (Around the steering wheel, instrument Bezel), a brushed matte looking silver (Around the vents), then the color of the Door and dash panels, which is another silver color... How many different shades of silver does it need? Anyway here is to hoping for Carbon Flash MEtallic door and dash panels!!

I just put in a preliminary order for a 2ss 45th convertible. We have an order number, and my dealer told me the day ordering opens it will get accepted. My wife turns 45 in October, so this is her birthday present.

The 45th Anniversary is actually and orderable package that would be applied the 2LT and 2SS trim levels for the 2012 model year. I do not currently have any specific pricing information for this option or the 2012 Camaro in general. Hopefully as we edge closer and closer to the beginning of production date (July 18th) we will be getting that information.

Thanks, Jeff! I look forwards to the price reveal. I'm hoping to get a 2lt with the 45th anniversary package.
