The plan is to have an MRT V2.0 exhaust and INJEN CAI waiting for install the second I touch US soil. Screaming up and down the street pissing off my neighborhood will make this deployment well worth it

Congrats on your Camaro! And welcome to Camaro5!!

Thank you for your service also!

Thank you for your service. Enjoy your amazing car. I'm getting those same 2 mods on mine this weekend. They should arrive tomorrow. If you'd like a forum friend, I can tell you how the install goes, if you're doing it yourself. My hubby is a mechanic, so we're doing it in house. I even get to put the intake on all by myself (okay, with a little supervision, while he's busy with the exhaust). Hope you get home very soon!!!

I'd love to hear how the install goes! I will be doing it myself, I let nobody touch my cars. I'm an Aircraft mechanic so working on cars is very easy for me., and I love it.

Welcome MickeyD...how's things in Kandahar? I was there Jan-Jul '02, the the 3rd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division. We spent a lot of time building that place up from nothing. I assume that after 9 years the accomodations are a little bit better now. Keep your head down and stay safe!

Hope you make it home soon, safe and sound. I can tell you, these installs were incredibly easy. The only easier install was the strut tower brace.

The intake was easy, though I would recommend taking the wheel off and the whole wheel well cover off. It didn't want to completely bend back into shape when I only took half the fasteners out. Other than that, it was super easy. It took me an hour and a half, and I'm an accountant with very little help, as I wanted to do it myself. Hubby just supervised, and then torqued down the lugs on the wheel after I put it back on.

The exhaust was also a piece of cake for my hubby. Just a little cutting, fitting, and welding. Whole thing took home an hour and ten minutes. He did a little persuading once things settled in, and I couldn't be happier with the fit or the sound. I think you're really going to like these modifications.

Best of luck in getting home, and enjoy your Inferno!
