Wrapped my side markers in silver metallic vinyl (got a little sheet of it from a local sign shop) The color is actually a very close match and it lets enough light though for the lights to be seen clearly at night.

During the day theyre pretty faint but thats also true even for the ones that havent been modified. The side markers are really just about visibility at night.

That looks great!!! I have been thinking about what to do with mine without doing the whole tint thing. Is there a specific type of vinyl?

I stopped in to a Fast Signs and bought a section of the metallic silver they had in stock. Any place that does vinyl wraps/car signs or most sign shops should have something in stock that will work. They can probably give you a little section to test next to your paint to see if it matches.

at 1st I couldnt even tell they were there, they matched so well... then I saw them. nice and clean, go's good with the grille. Its a classy look. Lets seem them when they are on or when its dark out.
