anyone tried Nufinish?

I have tried both Adams and Zaino products and they are both great. I just saw a commercial for Nufinish car polish. Has anyone ever tried this stuff and is it any good?

I personally haven't tried it, but I'd have to wonder if it's not being touted a lot on car forums, that would make you wonder since I know it's been around for as least as long as I've first had my driver's license.

The main two "top dogs" as it were are Adam's and Zaino, aka "either way, you're covered from A to Z". I personally wouldn't waste time with anything else. If it's a lot cheaper, it's usually for good reason.

Here's one review:

I have,.....a LONG time ago, like over 30 yrs ago, when I didn't know any better. wouldn't waste my time with it.....at least not on a GOOD car. now if you have a BEATER and want something to put on it so you can get rid of it....sure go ahead, otherwise, its money down the tube.

Wow, they still make that stuff?

I thought it was great 20 years ago when I used in on my first car, a 280ZX.

Back then it was a heck of a cleaner. You could smell the strong petroleum solvents in it. I remember it sucking the red paint right off of a single stage paint (no clear) Bronco I had too. Definitely wouldn't use it now, but If you have a really bad finish that you were going to tackle by hand, it might have a place.

I have used it, and it's pretty good. I use McGuires products now on all my vehicles and I like the results!

I used that on my first car too, back in the 80's. I thought it did a really good job back then. But then I didn't really know anything about detailing a car. It's been so long since I've used it, I really have no idea how good it is now that I have knowledge on the subject.

It's okay for an ordinary car, but it won't get within 50 feet of my Camaro which only sees Maguiars products.
