Kind of a shame this didn't come on the cars already . . . it seems nice from the description in the manual. But also, I'm not crazy about it being just an LED drilled into a random spot in the console. Somewhere centered with an even light spread in the cupholders would be nice . . . but I'll wait to see the finished pictures.
If you can, please take some good quality pics after it's installed. By the way, you can get this for $279 from www.gmpartsdirect.com. A far cry from the dealer's $425. |

It's not a random position in the cup holder, it's at 8 o'clock.
 I'm more disappointed at the foot well lights being stuck to the front of the console sides. I guess it's a simple and semi-invisible solution. |

So I disassembled my center console at lunch today. When I get home it will be time to drill holes and install the lights. I will be taking better pictures with a Nikon D7000 instead of my cell phone as seen below.

Maybe you can see if the cup-holder drilling could be done with just removing the side cover?

@PCOLASHAN, may ask how you did your lighting setup? It looks great! I would love to do something similar with green lights. Did you tap into the installed ambient lighting? My Synergy has green lights in the doors - I've been thinking about splicing my own setup into there - I don't know about other models, though.

Hey . . . I'm thinking you can change the mounting locations to the same spot that PCOLSHAN placed his, and put the plate over it and you'd have an awesome GM setup.

Just finished up installing the kit. Here are several pictures during the install.
At the bottom you can see the 4 color options. 1) Aqua 2) Bright Aqua 3) Red 4) Bright Red / Orange If you have any specific requests for pics let me know. (Yes my car is dirty in the pics. I took it to the washed the car after I was done.)
