Durable & Easy to use wax
Can anybody recommend a durable and easy to use wax? I'm not looking for a 4 step process, just something that is fairly durable and easy enough to apply and take off without a lot of steps or tons of time.

How durable is Carnuba wax? I have always heard the synthetic stuff held up better.

when I get to a hand car wash, I have them to apply their liquid wax. I know it's not the best but I read somewhere that it is better than no wax a all. My baby look 100% new with this type of wax and I can't complain.....Though I will get a detailer to work on my finish very soon, those products really protects my for he time behing.

Do you have a Porter Cable or similar orbital polisher? If so, you can't get easier, faster, or more durable than Adam's Machine Superwax. It's put on very thin with the PC with the grey pad and no pressure. It likes to set up for a little while, then buff it off with a microfiber towel.
Very easy, two steps. Wax on, wax off.

Klasse All In One.....it's easy to use and last longer than carnuba wax. I have used it here in Texas. It lasts longer even with the extreme heat here and you apply it by hand.

I use Mother's when I hand wax her, and then Adam's wax when I'm using the PC

The key words in your question were "easy" and "not multiple steps". Some synthetics do last longer than a carnuba but they are far from wipe on and off and walk away. The Americana is going to be your best bet. Wipe on and off, and walk away. Last a good deal of time too.

We use " Kit " Carnuba paste wax.... Easy on & easy off...Great shine*
Around $5.00 a can... use a microfiber pad... Some carnuba waxes can cost hundreds of dollars.. Any carnuba is the right way to go..... |

In general synthetics will outlast natural waxes (carnuba) but there are varying grades of carnuba. For example Americana is a blend that utilizes the very highest grade of brazilian carnuba available... the reason its rated so highly is its durability and the depth it puts on a finish, as such Americana has a solid 3 months of durability with one application. Buttery on the other hand is made using a very basic carnuba, looks good but durability is far lower... 1-2 months tops for a single application. Going to synthetics you sacrifice that deep/wet look to an extent, but gain longevity. They tend to look much more reflective and bright, but don't have that "reach into the paint" deep look you get from natural waxes. We really don't have an 'easy/quick' sealant being totally honest. Our Machine Superwax pretty much requires the porter cable to effectively apply it, needs 30+ minutes of cure time, but the trade off is excellent durability. So long story short... if you want a "WAX" that will last a long time you need to look more to the premium hard waxes. If you want something that will last a long time and is a little more budget friendly you want a sealant. |

When it comes to durability, Zaino has no equal. Easy to apply by hand. Top-notch stuff.

Finally got around to using the Adam's Americana wax I ordered about 6 months ago. The stuff is great. It goes on and off very easily and it doesn't leave white residue on the black trim. It also has a deep shine to it.
Definitely worth the money! I'm quite pleased.

If you are looking for durable, easy-to-apply waxes that last a long time you have two choices, IME.
Collinite 845 IW Insulator Wax Finish Kare 1000p While both these claim to be a "wax", Collinite is a blended wax (polymers/resins/t1 grade carnauba) and Finish Kare is a synthetic. Both of these apply by hand and their durability is legendary, it is not uncommon to see more than 6 months of protection from either. |
