Help painting rims

I don’t use any cleaning products on my wheels at all...just spray off the brake dust...gently wipe the wheels down, and done...low maintenance and look fantastic!

and how did the lugnuts and valve stem turn out? how did u do that part?

I was searching the internet yesterday and found that slp sells black coated lug nuts, might be another option. I'm sure the coating will get messed up the first time you have to take the wheels off.

this stuff is great, been using it for a while. have my rims done, holds up to a power washer haha so a car wash may be okay....but like SA Chevy said, just spray them down , they clean easy with this stuff on them. I did 2-3 heavier coats because this stuff is made to go on thick, its like a protective coating....

Are u spraying the lug nuts also or using black ones.....looks great just worried how long would the plasti dip last ....

ok so done and done. all the tips helped im a pretty impatient guy so that sucked to wait. also the first 2 coats have moral support because you will want to kill yourself it looks bad. BUT !!!! once it dries you'll fall more and more in love with it. i painted over the lugs but will be switching to the gloss black ones from westcoastcamaro.com. also got paint happy and did both bowties again scary but worth it. i agree with its made to go on thick and i might add one more coast theres only ONE spot were i kinda ****ed up on but hey its all good. anyway not gonna bore you guys with the step by step pics just kinda before and after.

yea, this stuff goes on over anything really, adheres to itself like a protective coating
