3 inch cut outs on stock exhaust

Hey guys made a video today for those who want to know what cut outs will sound like on their V6.

My dump pipes are welded in right after the cats. my only other mod is a home made intake.

Did an outside clip, inside normal driving clip, and an acceleration test from 66 to 101(closed runway).

Took me 8 seconds to go from 66 to 101 starting in 3rd. Letas do some ricer paper math!

Mags have gotten 5.5 0-60 times with manual V6s. So depending on how long it takes me to go from 2nd to 3rd will take my time from about 13.5 to xx.x.

Gotta love ricer math! lmao

Surprising not. Its just very deep and "crackly". Back fire noise is exaggerated, which I like lol

Summit racing makes better cut outs than QTP all day everyday.

Go to Summit racing's website and the parts are two dump pipes. Get the 2.25 inch receiver with 3 inch dump cut out pipes for stock exhaust.

Then get the dual electric cut outs + harness package, those are the butterfly valves.

Price should be around $315 out the door including shipping.

You are entitiled to your own opinion, but IMO QTP makes top notch products and there exhaust cutouts are NO exception.

My friends and I have all had QTP and Summit and all our QTPS had problems.

True its opinion but you cant argue some facts, which is that Summit cut outs open in about 2 seconds. QTP is much slower.

dont seem very loud... mrt 1.0 seems louder .. im on the fence to do this.. but i want it to be LOUD

My camera only shows what it sounds like, not the actual loudness.

ill put up $500 right now that says mine or anyone elses cut outs are at least 10x louder than any after market exhaust system for our cars!

Lol I'll take that bet. 70 decibels is what an exhaust might be at. 150 decibels is a jet engine. 10x70=700. I don't think so.

Lmao!

If the difference between a jet engine and car exhaust is 80 decibels then they must be powers of ten.

So a jet engine is 10^8 times louder than a car exhaust?
