Where is it and how noticeable? Generally speaking, tech inspection cares about two things: battery tied down, and seat belts working.

You might get a little more attention paid to you because you aren't even close to stock but my experience is that they mostly just give the car a glance and really check the battery and seat belt.

My Grand Prix had a lot done to it but it looked almost stock if you just looked at the engine bay so that helped me, I'm sure. Not that I had anything that wouldn't pass anyway

Josh, that is huge and they will probably notice. I have been up to Infinion quite a few times in the last year and I will tell you that they do a pretty good job on their tech. I have seen them give some warnings, they WILL NOT if they see that tire. The last thing you want is to get a blow out at the 115+ your car should be doing at the end of the quarter mile.

Don't forget that you also will need a racing jacket, they might let that slide if you stay in the 12s. The jacket costs just under 100 and I can give you the info of where I purchased mine. You also should order a drive shaft safety loop from now, they probably will not look for it yet but it's good to have with the way things break on these cars. There are lots of other things that you will need if you break under 11.5 seconds. I suggest that you invest in some Bogarts and Mickey Thompson racing slicks and some skinnies in the front. Don't for get the 1500hp axles if you didn't get those yet. Launching the manual is a biatch!

Just looked at there web forum. Quote "The Wednesday night May 11th date at Infineon was originally scheduled as a Motorcycle Only event but that has been changed due to lack of participation.
Instead, it will be a normal Wednesday night with all of the usual classes and for this event only, tech cards for everyone will be just $20.00"

Pretty good deal I guess.

Loading up the family, just downloaded a last minute tune to the car, swapped out the 22's back to my 20's! On our way! As long as I break 13 sec, I'll be happy.
