i actually read somewhere that the actual production car will be able to house ,i believe,24's all the way around. just by how they did the clearance in the fenders. it really doesnt matter to me. i plan on putting a nice set of HRE's on it with an offset in the rear. im thinkin like a 10" wide rear and a 2-3" lip. 20's all the way around probably.

be able to and will do are two diff things. just wondering, they were talking soley about the rims, not the whole rim/tire (=wheel) package right? cus I can fit 23" wheels easily in my 4th gen tho they are only 15" rims. the whole tire height is 23" lol. (only for the track. lol)

and I think im going to print out one of dragons P/Ss and take it to the dealer with a pic of the S/C LS9 and tell them thats what I want with 11" wide rears w/315s. lol

They'll look at you and say...well, they won't say anything 'cause they'll be blinded by the Majesty of both the LS9 and my chops in your hands!

no they said that you could fir a 24"wheel and tire package on and it would have plenty of clearance. not that any one will do it ,they said, but it will fit.something about how the front nose is shorter and the front end assembly is out closer to the nose, that it allows a large wheels and tire combo.

Here we go:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=515

Quote:
Rather than using the exact same Zeta platform as the Holden Commodore and Pontiac G8, GM made the front axle centerline on the Camaro about 50mm further forward than on the two sedans, according to Motor Trend.

The expensive change was made to allow the Camaro and Impala to fit 20-inch wheels without compromising steering lock and turning radius. A Holden source told the magazine the car could even fit 24-inch wheels without issue, although that's not likely to actually happen.

I don't mean to be picky but the concepts wheels are 21" and 22". Anyway, I hope that the production model will have the same size tires all around because like said before I want to rotate my tires and not just keep buying new ones for the rear. 255's all around would be a good start, but 275's wouldn't hurt

yeah the concept had 22 and 21's but they just say you COULD fit 24's if you wanted to. and believe me im sure there will be some custom builders doing it for sema. i can see DUB doing it.

Can anyone tell a difference between fronts and backs on them?

I think GM should stick with the wheels the concept has on it NOW as the stock rims that come out. I would be happy with them until I can afford to get my Torq-Thrust M's on that baby Unless I decide I like the look of the factory wheels better? Mmmmm... Not sure about that one... But I do like the concepts wheels.

Does anyone else think the concepts wheels look like the wheels on a Mazda RX-8???

That looks like a baby play toy
