Wanting a front SS bumper

I Want 2010 Camaro SS Front Bumper doesn't have to be painted but if it is, it needs to be IBM (Imperial Blue Metallic)
I'm also willing to trade + money on top for mine on my V6 bumper. it's got scratches on the right side...

So if you know where I can get one, or have a SS and don't like your bumper please let me know, and we can swap.

It's funny how a couple of other v6 owners and I all envy of the v8's because of their more aggressive look and the wide mouth bottom grill.

If I'd get a SS bumper I'd remove the SS badges immediately.
I hate when people put SS all over their LS/1Lt

Your nearest Chevy/GM parts dealer can get you an SS front fascia and you can have it painted any color you wish. I've gone through three different nose covers on my TA over the years. I pay about $600 to swap out the fronts on my TA (includes paint). I'm guessing you can do the SS front for about $800?

I was wanting to do this swap a couple weeks ago. I was going to put a functional ram air hood on my car. I didn't want the slot and ram air slot. So I figured I'd get a v6 bumper and that would do the trick. What were the chances of someone wanting to swap with the same color and within driving distance I thought. So I went ahead and put a vararam intake on my car instead. Bummer!

I wanted to install the SS Bumper on my 1LT, but thought it will be just WRONG!
We should be proud v6 owners man! lol seriously, why should we change it to SS look-a-like? yeh, i know it looks meaner and all but say a decade later, your v6 LLT wouldnt have its value [V6 HERITAGE SHOULD STAY]!

Anyway, thats my opinion. Keep it a v6 man!

you have a great point.
but unfortunately I scratched up the side pretty bad and every (almost every) painter/body shop wants 600+. one said 400 but I don't think I trust their work. lol

If I'm gonna give that much might as well go in extra 200 for the SS fascia, w/o the badges, and get it that mean look.

maybe I'm crazy for wanting that extra 2-3 inches wider bottom grill..?

I know what you mean, and i was thinking the same. IF... we had the LS; the SS kit would be good! but no way i'd take off that SIKKK RS emblem from the front and rear facia!

Pay less and have a new V6 bumper bro!

In the sence of having a "meaner" look, have ground effects installed.. that would look even better than a stock SS facia.

I love my 2lt/rs but the v6 fascia is horrible!!! The way the hood just meets the fascia is so plain!I bought my 2lt/rs used and the guy who had it before me put an ss fascia on it and man does it look great!

I agree with you man. I have a 2LT/RS that was in a fender bender. I was gonna get a new V6 bumper and put in T2 ports and maybe a lip, but I kinda liked the T3 ports better, and the SS bumper is wider and more aggressive looking. And it has the lower lip that the V6 bumper doesn't have. So my car is in the shop right now getting fixed. I should have it back tomorrow evening or Wednesday morning...can't wait!!!
