I'm going to try the one I have for my G6 vert. My verts not scheduled to arrive for a couple of weeks so if someone can give me the dimensions of the interior between the mounting holes and from the mounting holes to the rear of the back seats, I'll check my windscreen.

Unfortunately, Customer Service was not much help. It's unfortunate since the windscreen would be a great addition to our verts:

Greetings from the Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center!

We understand that the information you are seeking is important to you. We did more research and found that the windscreen for the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro is a future product with no available date yet for release.

Our dealerships have been established by Chevrolet as a comprehensive resource for all part information concerning pricing, availability and compatibility. They would be in the best position to update you if the part is already available for order.

Once again, we regret that we were unable to provide the information that you were requesting.

Great! I was out this weekend and there was a slight chill, would have been great to have it - looking forward to the release.

One of the things I love about my convertible blowing wind all around me is that it makes me feel like I do when I am riding my softail..... FREE.... and just as I hate a windshield on my bike, I would imagine I would hate the windscreen on my ragtop. But that is just my .02.

Anyone know of a windscreen out there that my two year old could still sit in the back seat with? She's (and my wife) not a big fan of the windy conditions back there!

Can't help in the kid dept being as I have none, but as for the women who complain about their hair whipping around, why not put it in a rubber band? Or hat? It feels too good to be windblown in a convertible to worry about my hair tangling up.... but maybe that's just me.

I had actually ordered the windscreen then decided against it. Now I just keep one of my wife's ball caps in the glove box for the few times she rides in it.

My daughter would never let me roll the windows down in my TrailBlazer so I was worried about her in the back of the convertible (she's 3). Her first ride with the top down, it was 55 & sunny and we went on the freeway. She loved it!! She will either put her hood up on her coat or her hair goes into piggies. I keep a rubberband looped on my key chain so I will always have a way to put my hair up if the top goes down.

Unhappy GMPartsDirect Cancelled Order

Bummer. I got a note today saying my order has been cancelled because the product has been back-ordered. So, hopefully an after-market dealer will step up. I know this has been coming, but it stinks to see it in writing.

Send a message via AIM to Mr. Wyndham
I'd be interested to experience how these windscreens actually do. After riding around a bit in the convertible at the Fest, I was really impressed with the lack of wind buffeting my head - even at ~55!

I can't imagine it can be even less! wow
